J.doe uses JDoe-User to read web pages on behalf of users. Requests come from J.doe's servers, rather than directly from a user's device.

What JDoe-User does

JDoe-User provides read-only access to web pages. It does not sign in to websites or submit forms.

Identification

JDoe-User identifies itself with this User-Agent header:

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; JDoe-User/1.0; +https://myjdoe.com/bot)

Website controls

JDoe-User respects robots.txt. Website operators can set rules specifically for the JDoe-User token. For example, to disallow access to all paths:
